Twee plantgeprinte doeken die ik afgelopen week maakte met gedroogde bladeren en bloemen van de herfst. Het eco-colouringboek heb ik nu een jaar in huis en door steeds maar weer te proberen krijg ik steeds meer vat op de magie van het natuurlijk kleuren. Al blijft het uitpakken nog steeds spannend en is de uitkomst altijd weer verrassend.

These are two pieces of fabric (wool and silk) which I have made with prints of dried plantmaterial collected in the autumn of last year. I have been guided by the book of Ecocolouring during the past year and have learned a lot by trying over and over about this magical natural colouring. This seems to be an ongoing story, cause the unwrapping of a bundle is stilll very exciting and always surprising and the colours are to dye for....

Mooie kleuren Dorie. Een mooi sfeer hebben jouw prints en bedankt voor het filmpje. Ik heb ook het boek van India, en ik vind het met plantmaterialen verven een heel avontuur. Het lukt me nog niet om van die mooie afdrukken te krijgen. Vorige week heb ik rode kool geprobeerd. Ik kreeg een heel harde kleur paars... en dat terwijl ik juist voor plantaardig kies vanwege de zachte kleuren.....

Hi, nice that you found my blog en indeed, no Alexander Pillin shoes on there. I contacted him a while ago for Feltunited, nice to hear he was okay.
